It only takes four colors to shade a map
In 1852, mathematician Francis Guthrie noticed that it took just four colors to fill in a map of the British counties without a color touching itself. He set out to prove that four colors were all you needed for any map. This applies to all maps or random pictures that are split into many sections. It is now called the Four Color Theorem.
