Einstein's eyeballs are kept in a bank
If you own something extremely valuable or irreplaceable, like jewels or important documents, and you want to keep it safe, you might store it in a safe deposit box in a bank's vault. The vaults are made of metal and are designed to withstand floods, fires, hurricanes, tornadoes and earthquakes. As well as collectibles and family keepsakes, safe deposit boxes have also been used to store some extremely unusual items. In 1955 when famous scientist Albert Einstein died, a doctor stole some of his body parts. The doctor put Einstein's eyes in a safe deposit box in New York, where they remain to this day.
