In this sweet, thoughtful story, a little boy feels unhappy when he compares himself to his classmates. But he comes to realize there's a lot more to a person than just what they're good at. There are hundreds of things that make you YOU.
Just like all the beautiful different pebbles he finds on the beach, each person has something that makes them wonderful. And that's a thing to celebrate. For children who begin to compare themselves to others around them, this reassuring story will remind them to be happy just being themselves.
