This is ideal for reluctant readers or for mine whilst on a car journey. Doesn't take too much concentration but keeps them entertained. Would definitely consider purchasing more or even as a gift.
We loved this book! We used this to have time together. My daughter loved how she felt part of the story. She said she loved playing a part 'like being a superhero'! The puzzles were fantastic, she was thoroughly engaged and did not want to put it down!
We really enjoyed reading this together. I think it is a fun read for encouraging concentration and reading comprehension skills. We enjoyed working through the puzzles.
We read this book in just 2 nights!! My daughter was really engaged and loved it! The text is perfect for new independent readers, and the pictures and comic style is very attractive. The puzzles around the story are perfect for their age. Simple, but not simple enough to be boring. I have orders from my daughter to look for more books from this collection.
My 7 year old absolutely loved this book and read the whole thing in a day! Since then he's read it several times again and enjoyed solving the puzzles throughout the book. He also found the story line interesting and the whole book seemed to capture his imagination.
