Most ladybugs have bright and spotty wing cases, but not all of them. Some are black, orange and yellow, some have white spots and some have black spots. Their bright colors help to keep them safe by tricking hungry animals into thinking they taste bad. In some countries people think seeing a ladybug is lucky.
