Roboticists are designing smaller and smaller robots. A nanorobot is far too little to see. It's over 100 times narrower than one of the hairs on your head. They're not in use yet, but one day they might go inside human bodies to help doctors heal their patients. Nanorobots could swim through blood hunting for germs.
