Static electricity can be used to spray paint onto cars
In a car factory, spray paint is connected to a machine with a positive charge. This draws electrons from the paint, leaving it with a positive charge while the car is given a negative charge. Because opposites attract, the paint is drawn to the car and the paint drops push away from each other to create an even spray.
