Baking meringues on rainy days is a recipe for disaster
Baked meringues are prepared by whisking egg whites with sugar. One of the most important parts of the recipe is keeping the ingredients as dry as possible. But on rainy or humid days, the sugar can absorb water from the air around it, altering the meringue mix.
