These giants are among the oldest living things on Planet Earth
The coasts of Northern California are foggy and mild all year round. It’s in this gentle, damp setting that monumental forests, unlike any others found on Earth, have been able to grow. These are coastal redwoods, the tallest trees on the planet, and they can grow taller than a 30-floor skyscraper. Redwoods are among the oldest living things on Earth; they can live to be over 2000 years old.
