Eating ice cream can cause sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia
Eating very cold food can cause a chain reaction that temporarily simulates pain receptors in your head – commonly called an ice cream headache or brain freeze. The technical name for this is sphenopalatine ganglioneuralgia.
