We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Designer for our Foreign Language Publishing team to cover a Maternity Leave commencing in February 2021 for an initial period of 6 months (with the possibility of an extension).
The Foreign Language Publishing Team produces editions in several mainly European languages, which are printed and distributed around the world under Usborne’s own unique brand. Our designers help to create the foreign-language covers of many hundreds of new Usborne titles each year across the whole of the company’s exciting range.
The successful candidate will ideally have at least one years’ experience and will have excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative suite and preferably experience of typographic work. As we work across multiple languages, French, Italian, Spanish and /or German language skills would be a distinct advantage although not essential.
We offer a 35-hour working week and whilst this role will usually be based in our Farringdon office in London, we are currently mostly working from home.

We have additional editorial and design offices in Wolverhampton and Eynsham, near Oxford, and our direct sales division, Usborne Books at Home, is also based in Eynsham.
