The book really does introduce children to just a hundred words in French without getting into confusing details such as grammar or sentence structure. Each brightly illustrated double page layout features a central scene, with items from the scene listed at the top of the page with their French and English words beneath them. In reading the book you simply go through the pages naming various objects in the pictures and discussing what’s going on with your child. This is ideal for very young children as it means they can switch between enjoying the pictures and trying the new words.’
