When houseflies buzz, they produce the musical note F
Musical notes are caused by vibrations, such as the vibration of a guitar string – or even of a fly’s wings. The rate or speed of the vibration determines how high or low the note will be. This means you could possibly tune a guitar by listening to a buzzing fly.
