Usborne Key Skills is a new series of practice and revision books that support and consolidate the English and Maths that children learn on the National Curriculum. The series is organised by age, and the activities in each book will build confidence in understanding the Maths and written English studied by each age group.
Notes for grown-ups explain the concepts that are presented and practised in each activity. Colourful characters illustrate the laminated pages, which can be wiped clean so children can practise the activities again and again.
Look out for many more books in this range coming soon, including practice pads and Key Skills science books.
Usborne Editorial Director Felicity Brooks explains how the Key Skills series supports the Maths and English that children learn at school
"Leo's starting to do early maths in reception at school and this was written in a way he could understand, very cleverly breaking down each times table into lots of fun activities."
Fantastic book, can be used again and again. Really helps with learning as there are no fears of making mistakes. Toppsta reader review of Wipe-clean Grammar and Punctuation 5-6
