Series: Look inside
By Minna Lacey
Children can explore the jungles of the world and meet the plants, animals and insects that live there in this colourful lift-the-flap book. Peep under the flaps to discover iguanas warming themselves in the sun in the Amazon, orangutans swinging through the trees in Borneo, forest buffaloes crossing a river in West Africa, and fruit bats flitting over the treetops in South East Asia. With over 80 flaps to lift, this is an exciting introduction to rainforests and rainforest wildlife.
Minna Lacey has been writing books for Usborne since 2004, about all kinds of topics - from machines and nature to Christopher Columbus and the Olympics. “Look inside a Farm”
An absolute delight! Not only the illustrations (by Simone Abel) are beautiful but the book is a great source to expand children's vocabulary and to learn more about where everyday products (such as milk!) come from. They can read it again and again and never get tired, there is always a cute character to discover and a new fact to learn.
