“Write your own story book”
I'm planning to get this myself today! My teacher has it and i have flicked through some pages and once i was home I whisked onto my computer and searched for it! I want to become an author myself one day! I can't wait to get this!
“Write You Own Story Book Review”
Write your own story book was a amazing find! I bought it at my school fair a couple of weeks ago and haven't put it down!!! It's really good for helping with your writing. I've written several stories now that my little cousin LOVES to listen to! Even my teachers want to borrow it! I never used to like reading or writing but now I love it! Thanks to everyone at Usborne for creating a FANTASTIC book(and my mum for buying it!)

Press reviews

“Let's encourage children of today to become writers of tomorrow. Write You Own Story Book, is a truly creative book that is bound to inspire the JK Rowlings and Jacqueline Wilsons of the future.”
“Packed with ideas to get children's imaginations flowing, from tips on characters, settings and story starter, to word lists and hints on titles. There are also plenty of blank lines, just begging to be written on.”
“Full of inspiring ideas for all sorts of stories, from super power adventures to time-travel mysteries. Guidance on how to get started and help with all the things a budding writer needs to think about. By the end of the summer holidays you could have written the next Harry Potter!”
“One of the most common questions we are asked at Parents in Touch is 'How can I help my child's creative writing?' This book is an excellent resource for doing just that. In the format of a spiral bound notebook, it is divided into two main sections - a writing section and a writing toolkit. The coloured illustrations and ready to use lines are just crying out to be filled and whatever interests your child has, they are sure to find it covered here. Try something new - create a comic strip, tell a picture from a story, create a fairy tale.... all illustrated in full colour. The writing toolkit is packed with ideas for amazing stories. Children will never run out of ideas with this inspiring book which really makes writing fun. Give them a head start on writing and make sure you get a copy of this super book.”
“For all budding story tellers, this is a must-have book: from simple story plans to techniques for more elaborate stories, your storytelling skills will jump to a different league.”
