“I recommend this book to every person looking for a gift for a child”
Great for gifting! A gorgeous, multi-cultural fairy tale anthology of 10 European and Asian stories including: Sleeping Beauty, The Emperor and the Nightingale, Beauty and the Beast, The Dragon Painter, The Frog Prince, The Elves and the Shoemaker, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, The Swan Princess, and the Emperor’s New Clothes. Great size! It's about the size of a medium paperback, but a bit thicker and with a durable padded hardcover and ribbon placeholder. Our copy went on many, many family vacations with us and still looks almost new (2020). Originally published in 2007, the same year my second child was born. I don’t recall where or when exactly I got this, but I have highly recommended it ever since. Put it in a carry-on for long flights with children!
“A gorgeous book with beautifully illustrated classics”
When I was a little girl, I loved stories such as 'Cinderella', 'Sleeping Beauty', 'Little Red Riding Hood' and 'The Frog Prince'. This wonderful collection has helped me rediscover the classics from my childhood. This is a charming book for children and adults alike.
