“An excellent book!”
The Great Brain Robbery by P.G Bell is an excellent book, bursting with creativity, emotion and is lively throughout. Deputy Postmaster (and physics loving girl) Suzy returns as she journeys to Trollville but this time it is for the opening to the ‘Impossible Express’ with her friend, Fletch (a Troll). Meeting many old friends at the opening and listening to the crazy Amylum all goes well until a mysterious earthquake takes place, the first in Trollville history! As her friends rush around trying to help others Suzy is pondering her own future. These feelings aside she encounters a grubby Troll scavenging for scrap metal and a spooky hooded figure... Family reunions occur — but they are not the happiest of occasions. Generally, this would not be my type of book, but I really enjoyed it! If I’m honest there wasn’t much to improve on, maybe more physics?
“Great villains!”
I have read The Great Robbery and I enjoyed it. I loved the plot and the characters. My favourite new characters are villains The Brain Storm and Tenebrae. Tenebrae is a cool character with wings and amazing eyes. I liked the fact that the Brain Storm is made of magic. I would recommend reading The Train to Impossible Places first. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
“Great Brain Robbery”
This book is one of the best books I have ever read. It had breathtaking cliffhangers and I have learnt more about the characters and feel as if I have been to Trollville, the Union States and was a part of the exciting adventure delving deep into the story! This is probably one of my favourite books EVER!
