“Lovely First Chapter Book”
While at a craft fair I came across an Usborne book stall and bought this book. I felt it would be a great book for my 5 year old son who has just started reading and has been asking for chapter books. The chapters are short enough to hold his attention and unlike a lot of chapter books this one has colourful pictures making it a lovely introduction to chapter books from the picture story books that he is used to.
“This funny fairground tale stars a little ghost, who is deemed not scary enough by the Ghost Inspectors and loses his job at the fairground. But Jake is determined to help him be scarier and win his job back - can he do it? This spooky story will help children develop their reading confidence whilst they enjoy an enthralling tale.”
