Lara Williamson writes books that will warm your heart and break your heart at the same time. Her first two books, A Boy Called Hope and The Boy Who Sailed the Ocean in an Armchair, were both shortlisted for multiple awards, and her third novel Just Call Me Spaghetti-Hoop Boy was released in 2017 to critical acclaim.
Lara was born and studied in Northern Ireland. After graduating with a degree in Fashion Design she moved to London. She worked for magazines including ELLE and New Woman, before becoming beauty editor at J17. She currently lives in London with her family.
